The vice-rectorate for relations with the environment is the department responsible for the development and management of the strategy and processes of institutional relations with the internal and external environment. Its goal is to strengthen and develop permanent mechanisms and instances that support the integration of the university with the community and institutions of the regional public and private environment.

- Create a development plan for the area of environmental linkage in accordance with the strategic plan of institutional development.
- Define and implement environmental linkages policy.
- Effectively formulate the directorate and departments dependent on the vice-rectorate for relations with the environment with the aim of facing the environment harmoniously and with social responsibility.
- Promote impact in the arts-cultural, sports and reflective fields.
- Articulate student and academic mobility in a two-way manner, nationally and internationally.
- Ensure the quality of processes in the field of environmental linkage.
