The governor of Zulia, Manuel Rosales Guerrero, presided this Wednesday, June 19, at the ceremony of the presentation of certificates of the Ingenio y Futuro program, carried out by the regional government, which benefits hundreds of young Zulians in a new field: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. .
It should be noted that Ingenio y Futuro is an innovative technological education program created by the government of Zulia, developed by TechCreativos, with the educational support of the University of Zulia.
Rosales began his speech by referring to these two themes, which are explored in science fiction and literature, but references can also be found in mythology and ancient legends.
“The history of robotics in humanity is fascinating and spans many centuries. It currently achieves a wide range of applications, from industrial manufacturing and space exploration to medical care and artificial intelligence,” he said.
The future generation
And he stated: “Knowing that in an increasingly digitized and automated world, it is essential to prepare young generations to be equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in this new era, the Ingenio y Futuro program begins in Zulia.”
The governor highlighted that today 415 students from 30 public and private schools in Zulia are receiving the robotics and artificial intelligence developer certification approved by our highest Chamber of Studies: LUZ.
The regional leader expressed words of appreciation to the instructors, Emanuel Andrade, Samuel Paz, Maria Victoria Uzcátegui, Elio Urdanet, Andrés Rincón, Carlos Mendez and Gustavo Inciarta.
“It is a scale and results with very special connotations because it is inspired by our world champions in robotics. Thanks to the Venezuela team,” he emphasized.

He also assured that “our boys will leave here with a certificate of high academic merit. From this moment on, important opportunities for work, study and professional growth in the most diverse technological specialties of the future open up for them. “Those who obtain these certificates today will have the support of the entities involved, because we would gain nothing by leaving them to their fate without adequate guidance in the face of new challenges.”
Rosales emphasized that after these 80 hours of training, the participants will climb to higher levels. “We want them to dare to train much more, so that they can become the next protagonists of the magnitude of Zulia, which has always distinguished us as the cradle of genius in Latin America.”
In his speech, Rosales quoted the words of one professor: “Artificial intelligence is the fire that will ignite the next industrial revolution. And he assured that if electricity once transformed the world, now artificial intelligence will cause an impact of incalculable proportions for the good of humanity.

He pointed out that in this new history of technology, Zulia will be at the forefront because these youth want to succeed, want to prosper and want to push for big changes.
“It is imperative that today’s youth get a solid education in robotics and artificial intelligence. Training in these areas will not only provide them with valuable technical skills, but also foster creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration, skills that are essential in today’s world.”
