Pakistan’s first lunar mission, a small satellite called iCube Qamarsent his first images from lunar orbit.
As reported by XinhuaChina this Friday delivered to Pakistan the data provided by this small probe, deployed on Wednesday from the Chang’e-6 spacecraft, launched on May 3, to collect and bring back to Earth the first samples of the lunar hidden side.
The iCube Qamar was jointly developed by the Pakistan Institute of Space Technology and China’s Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The Chang’e-6 lunar probe carried four international payloads, including a Pakistani probe.
