A new edition of the program has started Awakening Vocation, whose goal is to bring the world of technology closer to students. This is part of the strategic plan of the city of knowledge Mar del Plata through combining the public and private sectors which enables students to become familiar with the opportunities for training, development and personal and professional growth offered by the technology and creative industries. So far, they have 18 visits to the city’s schools planned and expect to reach 4,000 students by the end of the year.
“We want more young people to be part of the world of technology, there is a constant demand for these programming careers and we want them to be producers, not just consumers of ICT and take this potential and opportunities that this market offers,” he shared Fernando MuroSecretary for Regional Development, Investment and Public-Private Integration.
As for the content, it is developed in three 80-minute workshops, focused on applied robotics, programming and hybrid robotics. They are led by a team of Fundación 360 facilitators made up of advanced students from the Systems Analyst career. Higher Institute of Technical Studies (Iset). During the session, students will be able to work with educational kits such as Robobloq Q-scout and Q-coopers and Boson inventor KIT, using laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
In this sense, the Minister of Education Fernando RizziHe added: “We consider it very important to create spaces and environments for children to get closer to technology and learn about the possibilities that exist in the world of ICT. We are absolutely committed to the program and making sure it continues to grow year after year. We emphasize joint work between agencies to accompany students to access these opportunities.”
At the same time, learning in the field is encouraged Information and communication technologies (ICT), technology creation processes and educational proposals in accordance with the required job profiles. During the year, activities such as introductory programming workshops and visits to ICT companies in the city are also included.
