Chile will experience an astronomical phenomenon on the night of this night Tuesday September 17th and early Wednesday September 18thas a partial lunar eclipse can be seen across the country. This celestial spectacle will be visible over the entire American continent (especially Ecuador), Europe, most of Africa, western Asia and parts of Antarctica. If you won’t be able to enjoy the eclipse in person, there are many live streams on the Internet that will allow you to witness it live from the comfort of your own home, such as that provided by NASA TV.

How long will the partial lunar eclipse last on September 17?

The phase of totality, when the Moon will be partially eclipsed, will last approximately 1 hour and 3 minutes, from the time the Moon begins to enter the penumbra until it leaves it, it will last almost 5 hours;
