January 14, 2025, Mexico City. – The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, presented the “Plan for Mexico”, a project that seeks to transform the country with a long-term vision supporting economic development, sustainability and social well-being. Structured into 12 clear and ambitious goals, this plan aims to reduce poverty, eliminate inequality and position Mexico as a global leader in various sectors.
Key objectives of Plan Mexico:
Make Mexico the tenth largest economy in the world.
Increase investment to 25% of GDP.
Create 1.5 million more jobs.
A guarantee that 50% of public purchases come from national production.
Shorten investment procedures from 2.6 years to one year.
Increase national content in strategic products by 15%.
Claudia Sheinbaum He emphasized that this plan responds to the current and future needs of the country:
