It trains 111 technical school students in robotics and artificial intelligence

111 tenth and eleventh grade students from schools and vocational colleges (CTP) in Guanacaste.

O 111 tenth and eleventh grade students, coming from schools and vocational technical schools (CTP) in the province of Guanacaste, they received training in robotics and artificial intelligence.

This initiative comes from the second edition of Heroes of Future Technology, which brought together these young people who are working to reduce social inequalities and promote formal employment outside the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM).

We are very pleased with this second edition of Heroes of Technology. It is an effort to promote a just society through fair and formal employment.

Through these approaches we aim to provide equal employment opportunities in areas outside the wider metropolitan area, explained the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager US Free Zone (AFZ), Laura Arce.

Through a workshop with students from Nicoya, Paquera, Santa Cruz, Playas del Coco, Sardinal, Belén, Villarreal, Corralillo, Río Grande, Lepanto, Nandayure, Santa Bárbara and La Mansión, they were trained in improving skills using artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality and They have learned from the current posts robots and the dangers of social networks.

The students were selected through a survey where they were asked about their interest in topics related to technology and sustainability.

How in detail, at the event 56 women participated (50.5%) in 55 (49.5%) menwhich will promote the inclusion of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers.

For his part, heThrough the AFZ-led Talent First program, Creative University awarded 50% scholarships to young people in STEM-related careers.
