A UNAH student won a robotics competition in China

Within a few weeks of hard work, innovation and team spirit, they were able to overcome numerous challenges and stand out from the competition with an impressive performance.

A graduate of UNAH, Mario Gómez is currently pursuing graduate studies at the prestigious Beihang University in the People’s Republic of China. His achievement is a source of pride for Honduras and highlights the country’s name on the international stage.

Other Hondurans in the robotics competition

A group of girls from the Honduran STEM Foundation represented the country and robotics competition called “Western Edge Open”, in California, United States of America.

“A group of girls will proudly raise the name of Honduras by participating in an international robotics competition. These girls have been preparing for several years to compete at the highest level,” Reyes told HRN.

Students who participate in this contest will put the name of Honduras first.

The girls, who are 11 to 15 years old, will show off all their skills in the use of science and technology. technique. Besides math and robotics.

They were selected through the FIRST LEGO League, a robotics competition created by the foundation where children as young as 4 develop their art and intellect with innovative designs.
